The SCM Oikos XL is a state-of-the-art 6-axis CNC machining centre designed for the production of large-format glue-laminated beams, columns, and CLT modular panels. Built with a robust structure, it effortlessly handles elements up to 4,000 kg in weight and 610 mm in thickness, with cross-sections up to 1,250×610 mm. Its advanced 6-axis machining head allows full processing on all sides in a single positioning, enabling heavy-duty material removal even on the hardest woods with a powerful 25 kW electrospindle. Special protective devices ensure perfect, damage-free surfaces, while the intuitive Maestro Beam&Wall software streamlines programming, integrates with popular CAD systems, and optimizes panel production with nesting and 3D simulation.
