Doucet BT3 Return Conveyor

Description

The Doucet BT3 Return Conveyor is a third-generation belt transfer return system, engineered for medium to large edgebanders. Built on a modular frame, it is available in five roller length models—BT3-24, 30, 36, 48, and 60—each featuring a fast, simple, and highly effective belt transfer system. Its receiving rollers use a down-stroke mechanism activated by the trailing edge of panels exiting the machine, while nested transfer belts side-shift products onto motorized return rollers positioned 2″ lower than the pass line to prevent interference between overlapping panels. Once a panel clears the reception area, the receiving rollers reset to receive the next panel. The BT3 is equipped with a variable speed drive to match the edgebander’s processing speed: the receiving table operates at 30–90 ft/min, the belt transfer speed is fixed at 180 ft/min, and the return conveyor speed is adjustable from 60–180 ft/min, ensuring smooth, efficient handling of panels.
