Description

The SCM Omal HG2 is a precision drilling and hinge-insertion machine designed for efficient door and panel production, featuring a 1500 mm (59″) working field with adjustable left and right reference stops for flexible positioning. It includes a fixed first head and a second head that can be quickly repositioned using a push-button brake release, complete with a digital readout for accurate setup. The HG2 performs a fully automatic cycle with bottom drilling and removable hinge-insertion magazines, supported by a digital readout for fast “tab” adjustments. Productivity and safety are enhanced through independent head controls, inductive sensors that verify hinge absence before drilling, and a panel-presence sensor that prevents accidental clamping or drilling without material. Each head features automatic hinge-loading magazines with quick-release changeover, while integrated dust extraction and head-mounted controls ensure clean, efficient, and user-friendly operation throughout the entire cycle.
