Description
The SCM Minimax SC 4E sliding table saw combines working accuracy with ease of use and efficiency, delivering exceptional stability through its new closed-loop saw unit made of heavy cast iron and supported by dual crescent-shaped lateral supports for maximum rigidity and precise cutting results. The saw unit can be equipped with an optional scoring blade—either belt-driven from the main motor or powered by an independent 0.75 HP motor—and supports a main blade diameter of up to 315 mm even with the scorer installed. Its 360 mm-wide sliding table provides outstanding support for large workpieces, ensuring precise, silent, and smooth movement thanks to riveted-in steel guides that avoid glue and preserve long-term accuracy. The large squaring frame, complete with an idle roller, allows effortless panel loading and features a telescopic fence with reversible stops for squaring panels up to 3200 × 3200 mm or making 45° miter cuts on either side. For enhanced control, the fence support can also be equipped with a digital readout featuring a magnetic-band sensor, making the Minimax SC 4E a high-performing, user-friendly solution for precision woodworking.
