The SCM ME 40 Edgebander delivers high-quality, ready-to-use edge finishes, eliminating the need for further processing and saving significant time in production. With a panel feed speed of up to 9 m/min, it combines productivity with precision, offering the flexibility to work with polyurethane glue, perform grooves, and handle a variety of edge thicknesses. The “eye-S” compact console with a 10” touch screen and Maestro Active Edge interface provides intuitive, graphical control of all machine functions, while machining units feature automatic pneumatic on/off systems for trimming, edge scraping, and glue scraping. Multi-radius tools enable accurate, versatile edge finishing, and the rounding unit handles edges up to 3 mm for exceptional panel quality. An optional end-cutting unit with radius capability allows corner rounding without manual intervention, making the ME 40 a highly adaptable, efficient, and technologically advanced solution with an excellent quality-to-price ratio.
