Description

The SCM ME 20 Edgebander combines simplicity, precision, and efficiency for high-quality edge banding in a wide range of materials, including PVC, ABS, melamine, laminate, and wood. Its front-mounted control panel allows intuitive, error-free operation, guiding the operator through all main functions and maintenance tasks via the PLC system. Rapid and even glue heating, automatic temperature adjustment during production pauses, and an innovative self-lubricating glue pot ensure consistent, high-performance edge application. Dual rollers press the edge evenly, while the glue spreading roller maintains uniform coverage at maximum working temperature, even on taller panels. Precision cutting is achieved directly from the panel reference, eliminating the need for manual adjustments, and slide copying pads enable perfect alignment for straight or radius trimming. Edge thickness is easily set with two numerical readouts, delivering reliable, versatile, and professional finishing for every project.
