Description

The Salvamac Legend 500 chop saw features a thick, reinforced painted steel structure and a 500 mm diameter blade powered by a 5.5 kW motor at 2800 rpm, making it ideal for cutting wood up to 125 mm thick and 310 mm wide, or optionally up to 375 mm. Its solid ground anchoring system with flanged steel feet ensures maximum stability, while the ergonomically positioned bimanual safety controls allow safe and comfortable operation. Cutting speed is adjustable via a pneumatic regulator, and the electro-pneumatic presser securely locks the workpiece during cutting. The presser movement runs on ball bearings with double dust protection and automatic lubrication for smooth, reliable operation. Both the machine and its electrical system are fully compliant with CE standards.
