The Salvamac Legend 400 chop saw features a thick, reinforced painted steel structure and a 400 mm diameter blade powered by a 3.0 kW motor at 2800 rpm, making it ideal for cutting wood up to 80 mm thick and 250 mm wide. Its solid ground anchoring system with flanged steel feet ensures stability, while the ergonomically positioned bimanual safety controls allow safe and comfortable operation. Cutting speed is easily adjustable via a pneumatic regulator, and the electro-pneumatic upper presser securely locks the workpiece during cutting. The presser movement runs on ball bearings with double dust protection and automatic lubrication for smooth, reliable operation. Both the machine and its electrical system are fully compliant with CE standards.
