Description

The Belfab NBM-OP Open Modular Dust Collector is a high-efficiency, enclosure-less bag filtration system designed specifically for woodworking applications, offering a compact height of under 11 feet. Built to function as either a dedicated stand-alone unit or the main collector in a facility, the NBM-OP features BELFAB’s modular filter technology, allowing for cost-effective expansion of filtration surface area and maintaining an optimal air-to-cloth ratio better than 6:1. Its upgradable blower system delivers flexibility, increasing performance from 5 HP/2,500 CFM up to 20 HP/6,000 CFM, while the optional HUMMER 1800 RPM fan ensures super-quiet operation at up to 5,000 CFM indoors. The unit combines a low-maintenance direct-drive centrifugal fan, TEFC motor (CSA-UL/CSA-US approved), and high-efficiency needle felt filter bags with a vertical mechanical shaker for easy cleaning. Configured for push applications, the NBM-OP also offers options such as extended legs for enhanced dust disposal, silencers for quieter operation, and pre-wired magnetic starters, making it a versatile and space-efficient solution for any woodworking environment.
